Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 8.49 Lakh
Maruti S-Cross facelift launched in India.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new S-Cross India. Prices for the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift start from Rs 8.49 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) and goes up to Rs 11.29 lakh for the top-spec model.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift is offered in four different variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The new crossover will be retailed through Nexa premium dealership network.
The new S-Cross comes with an all-new front fascia dominated by a new chrome grille, chiseled bonnet and redesigned headlamps. The other new features include projector headlamps, beefier front bumper, wider air dam and revamped fog lamps.

The newly launched S-Cross is equipped with new sportier alloy wheels and redesigned ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. The top-of-the-range model will get sharper LED tail lamps and also the rear bumper has been revamped for a butch look.
The S-Cross facelift also comes with a redesigned interior featuring satin chrome accent finish, soft touch dashboard and well-coordinated seat fabric designs. Other features include touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, piano black centre panel and leather finished armrest.
The all-new crossover draws power from a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine producing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. The engine also features Maruti Suzuki's Smart Hybrid (SHVS) technology with idle-stop start, torque assist, brake energy regeneration system and a gearshift indicator.
A 5-speed manual gearbox handles the transmission duties as standard, and there is no word on the automatic variant. Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the bigger 1.6-litre engine which was offered in the outgoing model.
The safety features of the new S-Cross include dual airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and ISOFIX child seat mounts offered as standard equipment across the variants.
Additional features of the new crossover include keyless entry with push start and stop button, rear parking sensor and rear camera. The new Maruti S-Cross will be offered in five exciting colour options - Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Caffeine Brown, Premium Silver and Granite Grey.

The new Maruti S-Cross features cosmetic changes, especially on the front facia. The overall design of the crossover remains the same. The interior also gets few new features which enhances the premium feel. The new S-Cross will rival the likes of Hyundai Creta and Ford EcoSport.
