2018 Maruti Ciaz Facelift Launch Live: Maruti Suzuki has launched the latest version of the Ciaz – the premium sedan from the Indian car manufacturer, sold exclusively through the brand's NEXA dealerships. Bookings for the new Maruti Ciaz have already started.
The new 2018 Maruti Ciaz brings a lot of changes to the interior and exterior. The sedan gets subtle design tweaks and a host of new features. With the updates, Maruti Suzuki expects the Ciaz to achieve high sales figures in the premium sedan segment. The facelifted model will also make up for the dip in sales that has happened over the past few months.
Apart from the refreshed styling, the 2018 Maruti Ciaz will also introduce an all-new 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 104bhp and 138Nm of torque. The main highlight of the engine will be its mild-hybrid technology, dubbed as SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki).
The existing 1.3-litre diesel also shares the same technology and produces 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. The engines will come mated to a five-speed manual or an automatic.
The Maruti Ciaz mainly rivals the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Toyota Yaris.

What Are Your Thoughts On The New Ciaz?
The much-awaited Maruti Ciaz has been officially launched and we think it's a good choice in the sedan market. The car has got enough features and comfort while also looking elegant. What do you think?
Let's Talk Design!
The front of the Maruti Ciaz, for an untrained eye, looks fairly similar to the previous model. But Maruti Suzuki has integrated some sleek and subtle design elements up front. The grille mesh, the chrome details and the LED DRLs add to the drama.
The side profile mostly identical but the new alloy wheels aid a lot in aesthetics. The wheel design has got a balance between elegance and sportiness.
The rear profile has not got much to offer but has been given some chrome highlights on the bumper.
Overall, the new Maruti Ciaz is indeed a good-looking car and will have no problem attracting sales.
Safety You Need
