Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new 2018 Ciaz facelift in the Indian market. Ahead of that Maruti Suzuki has released a new teaser image. The new image reveals the redesigned LED tail light cluster of the 2018 Maruti Ciaz facelift. The LED lights look stylish and upmarket.
On the design front, the exterior of the new Maruti Ciaz will feature an updated front and rear fascia. The new Ciaz will feature an updated front grille, redesigned LED projector lights, LED daytime running lights and revamped bumper. The updated Ciaz will look more premium and upmarket.
The side profile of the 2018 Maruti Ciaz will not get any major changes except for the new machined alloy wheels. The rear profile of the Ciaz gets a new LED taillight cluster, which can be seen in the latest teaser image. Apart from that rest of the design elements remains unchanged.
The interior of the new Maruti Ciaz facelift will also feature an updated dashboard design with faux wood trim. The updated sedan will also spot a new instrument cluster with a multi-information display. The updated sedan will also come with a host of comfort and safety features.
The major update for the 2018 Maruti Ciaz will be under the bonnet. Yes, the new Ciaz will feature an all-new 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol engine will also feature SHVS mild hybrid technology.
The diesel variant of the new Maruti Ciaz will utilise the same 1.3-litre diesel engine producing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki is likely to introduce the new 1.5-litre diesel unit at a later stage and it will be BS-VI compliant engine. The petrol variant of the Ciaz is expected to feature an improved fuel efficiency due to the inclusion of mild hybrid technology.

Maruti Suzuki is all geared up for the launch of the new Ciaz in the Indian market. With the launch of the updated Ciaz, Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen its hold on the premium sedan segment.
