Yamaha YZF-R3 India Launch On 11th August, MT-320 By Mid-2016

Yamaha will finally be launching its highly anticipated YZF-R3 motorcycle in India. The Japanese will launch its latest sportbike in India on 11th of August, 2015.

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has been testing this sportbike for a while in the country. Yamaha has already been selling the YZF-R3 in Europe as well as in the United States of America.

The naked street fighter model by Yamaha, called the MT-320, will not be offered soon and is expected by mid-2016. The MT-320 is based on Yamaha's YZF-R3 motorcycle sans fairing.

Engine: 321cc in-line two cylinder, liquid-cooled
Horsepower: 41.42
Torque: 29.6 Nm
Gearbox: 6-speed constant mesh
Top speed: 187 kph

The YZF-R3 sportbike will be offered with ABS and shares several similarities with its sibling, the YZF-R25. The manufacturer has provided a bigger displacement to take on the competition.

In India, Yamaha's YZF-R3 will compete with the KTM RC390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the soon-to-be-launched CBR 300R from Honda. Pricing will be crucial and we are confident Yamaha will do an excellent job in this department.
