New Hyundai Santro Blue Colour Asta Variant Spotted Ahead Of Launch
The new Hyundai Santro will be launched in the Indian market on October 23, 2018, and we have already reported about the leaked pricing and interior of the hatchback. Now, the Blue colour model of the new Hyundai Santro has been spotted at a dealership stockyard ahead of its launch.
The Blue colour variant of the new Hyundai Santro looks attractive as compared to the other colours on offer. The spotted model is a top-spec Asta trim of the new Santro with all the bells and whistles. The overall design of the new Santro is modern and stylish but it retains the tall-boy design of the original Santro.
Up front, the new Hyundai Santro features a cascading grille with chrome surrounds, sweptback headlamps, fog lamps, a black plastic cladding around the grille and fog lamps and a new bumper. The side profile of the new Santro gets a small kink in the window line that adds to the premium look of the hatchback.
On the rear, the new Hyundai Santro features a large windshield, newly designed tail light cluster, black plastic insert on the bumper with reflectors on either side. The overall design of the rear end is reminiscent of the old Santro with a hint of modern touch.
The interior of the new Hyundai Santro features a dual-tone black and beige theme. The dashboard design is neat and clutter-free and also gets silver accents around the AC vents and gear lever and steering wheel.
The top-spec Asta trim of the Santro comes loaded with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink.
Other important features of the new Hyundai Santro include rear AC vent, steering-mounted audio controls, MID on the instrument cluster, electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and rear wiper.
The new Hyundai Santro comes equipped with standard safety features such as driver side airbag, ABS, EBD and reverse parking sensors. The top-spec Asta trim gets additional safety features such as passenger airbag and a reverse parking camera.
The new Hyundai Santro will draw power from a 1.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68bhp and 99Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The new Santro will be also offered with CNG fuel option.
