Honda Amaze Nears 50,000 Unit Sales, Celebrates With Chocolates
When Honda launched the Amaze compact sedan in India back in April the company estimated it would sell as many as 50,000 units before the fiscal year was over. In about 7 months time Honda has managed to reach that milestone number.
A clearly delighted Honda is sharing its happiness with its customer and as a way of saying thanks is gifting new customers a box of chocolates. But that's not it. Anyone who purchases Amaze compact sedan before the end of the year will also be given a chance to win a foreign trip.

Honda is trying to make a strong comeback and has thus far come out with favourable results. Both the Brio and Amaze have been delivering for the Japanese automaker.

Honda hopes to continue its good form with the all new City that was revealed earlier this week. Just like the Brio, Honda's first diesel car in India, the 1.5 liter i-DTEC Earth Dreams diesel engine powered City is also expected to sell well, overshadowing competition.

But this is just the start of Honda's India offensive. Next in line for launch is the Mobilio, an MPV that's based on the Brio platform as well. And last but not the least, the 2014 Jazz hatchback will make a comeback during the festive season.
However, going by Honda's own words the company will still be left with two more launches before the end of 2015. And here, the recently unveiled Vezel compact SUV comes to mind. So, it would seem its just the start of an exciting journey for Honda in India.
