‘Exciting’ design
Honda's new ‘Exciting H Design' front face debuts for the first time in the City. Its front grille and bumper, with integrated fog lamp housings, with their sharp angles, have a strong resemblance to the new Honda Fit or Jazz that'll make its debut in India next year.

Widest car in the segment
Built on the same platform as the new Jazz, the new Honda City is larger than the outgoing model. Except for the length (4440 mm) every other measurement exceeds the outgoing car. Wheelbase has been extended by 50 mm to 2600 mm.. It's higher by 10 mm at 1495 mm and wider as well, at 1695mm. All that translates to a more spacious interior. In fact, Honda claims the City to be the widest car in the segment.

Features and Equipments
The new Honda City has more equipment than ever before. The first thing that catches the eye is the 5 inch touch screen that not just controls the entertainment system and navigation, but also the air conditioning. For entertainment there is an eight speaker system, USB, MP3 and Bluetooth connectivity with hands free telephony and four power outlets for charging electronic devices.

Other features include sunroof, cruise control, start/stop system, rear view camera with multiple view settings and for the first time in the City, rear air-con vents. The new City feels more premium than before, with use of better quality plastic and upholstery.

Bookings for the 2014 Honda City have already begun, with deliveries set to commence from January. Pricing and remaining details will be revealed upon launch which will also be in January.
