A Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop Project Could Soon Be Real
Once the company recieves the approval, it will set up the whole project in 38 months.
Bibop Gabriele Gresta , co-founder at Hyperloop Transportation Technology, on his visit to India, has told the media that he is keen to build a Hyperloop connecting Pune and Mumbai.
If everything works out, the company will build a Hyperloop connecting Mumbai and Pune although the Union Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari is yet to take a final decision.
The company has raised a proposal to the Minister, and if approved, the company will move forward to lay the lines between the two cities. The process will reportedly take six to eight months to complete.
Once approved, the company will set up the whole project in 38 months. Once the service starts, the Hyperloop will take you between Mumbai and Pune in just 25 minutes.
