2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 To Launch On 27 March: What To Expect From The Update?

Royal Enfield is all set to launch the 2026 Guerrilla 450 tomorrow (March 27) at an event in Guwahati. The update to the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 comes less than a year after the motorcycle's debut and is expected to bring minor revisions rather than a full ground-up overhaul.

The latest teaser video from Royal Enfield for the Guerrilla 450 confirm cosmetic updates, with visible changes to the colour scheme. The overall design and bodywork remain unchanged, retaining the roadster's existing proportions and styling.

Visual updates to the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 are expected to come in the form of new colour options and refreshed graphics. Royal Enfield has already been revising the Guerrilla 450's palette, with some of the shades revealed at its original launch already discontinued.

One of the key areas likely to be addressed about the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is the motorcycle's suspension setup. Reports indicate that the rear suspension setup could be revised, particularly in response to feedback on ride quality. The current model uses a monoshock setup, and any changes are expected to help improve the Guerrilla 450's compliance over uneven surfaces.

There are also indications of a possible update to the Guerrilla 450's front suspension. Some reports suggest the introduction of USD forks, although this has not been confirmed in the teaser video from Royal Enfield.

Feature updates are expected to be limited. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 already offers a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and navigation, and no major additions have been confirmed so far. Any changes in this area are likely to be incremental rather than a shift in the feature set.

The 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450's engine setup is expected to remain unchanged. The Guerrilla 450 will continue to use the 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder Sherpa engine, which pushes out 40hp and 40Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a ride-by-wire throttle setup. This engine is shared with the Himalayan 450 and forms part of Royal Enfield's 450 platform.

The 2026 update will retain the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450's current positioning as a road-focused alternative to the Himalayan 450. Pricing changes, if any, are likely to be marginal.
