Royal Enfield Himalayan Modified — Project Madmax
The customised Royal Enfield Himalayan is equipped with Husqvarna USD front forks; wheels and the front forks are powder coated in red chrome.
A Mumbai-based garage, Transfigure Custom House has given the Royal Enfield's adventure motorcycle Himalayan a complete transformation.
The custom house calls it the Project Madmax; the customised Himalayan has been skillfully modified by hand as well as equipped with branded components.
On the exterior, the Himalayan Madmax receives LED headlamp, reprofiled fuel tank with a matte black finished windscreen and high-mounted front mudguard.
As for the paint job, the entire sheet metal and the frame has been painted with "Nardo Grey." Also, a single-piece custom steel seat pan with high-density hand-formed foam to achieve seamless one piece motocross seat. The rear number plate has been done away with.
An Audi RS6 shade inspires the Nardo Grey paint scheme for the Himalayan Madmax. The paint is well complemented by red chrome wheels and front suspension.
The Himalayan Madmax has been equipped with a sturdy front fork that is obtained from Husqvarna 450 TE dirtbike.
The 17-inch rims feature spokes that are custom made to match and comes shod with Shinko 120/60-17 (front) and 160/50-17 (rear) tyres.
Transfigure Custom House took a month and an investment of Rs 1.5 lakh to complete the Project Madmax. The result of the project is something that you can consider if you are looking to modify your Himalayan.
Mechanically, the Himalayan Madmax has been left untouched with the 411cc unit churning out 24.5bhp and 32Nm of torque coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.
