Guy Martin To Pilot A Mugen Electric Bike At Isle Of Man TT
Guy Martin partners with John McGuinness to ride an electric bike (Mugen Shinden Roku electric superbike) for the TT Zero class.
The Isle of Man TT Race is a motorcycle sports event which is held annually. It takes place somewhere in the month of Man in May or June every year since its inception in 1907. The 60.73 km long race track has seen the true potential of both man and their machines.
One of the very popular names, when it comes to the Isle of Man TT race is - Guy Martin's. He returns to the road racing at the Isle of Man TT and continues to draw big headers. A known fact is that Martin would partner with John McGuinness on the factory Honda Racing team of this year's TT.
On the other hand, Guy Martin will partner with John McGuinness on another team as well. This time he will take the seat on an electric bike (Mugen Shinden Roku electric superbike) for the TT Zero class in the process. Moreover, Martin has been confirmed as Team Mugen's second rider, replacing Bruce Anstey.
Both McGuinness and Martin will race on the new Mugen Shinden Roku electric superbike. This will be the sixth repetition of the Japanese outfits TT Zero racer. Both racers are looking forward to breaking the 193km/h barrier on the electric motorcycles at the Isle of Man TT.
Good new is that Brammo/Victory not going to take part in the 2017 TT Zero race. That said, Mugen is once again expected to take the top honors in the electric race. Last but not the least, this opportunity could be Guy Martin's best chance at knotting an Isle of Man TT race win.
