Spy Pics: BMW G 310 R Spied Ahead Of India Launch — Will It Dethrone The Dukes?
BMW Motorrad is all geared up for the launch of its G 310 R in the Indian market. Ahead of that the motorcycle is spied testing in India.
BMW Motorrad is all set to launch its new naked street fighter, the G 310 R in the Indian market. Ahead of that the motorcycle has been spied on a highway in the country.
The G 310 R is manufactured at TVS Motor Company's Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. The naked roadster is co-developed with BMW Motorrad at their Munich facility.
The BMW G 310 R is expected to be launched in the Indian market by March or April 2017. The motorcycle will carry a premium price tag. The new street fighter will get dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
The design cues of the G 310 R is derived from the BMW's flagship motorcycle, the S1000R. Powering the G 310 R is a 313cc single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid cooled engine producing 33.5bhp and 28Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The BMW G 310 R is expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh ex-showroom. When launched in India, the motorcycle will take on its segment rivals such as KTM Duke 390, Mahindra Mojo and Bajaj Dominar 400.
