2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI To Be Launched In India By January-End
According to emerging reports, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI will be launched in the Indian market by January-End.
Bajaj Auto recently launched its flagship motorcycle, the Dominar 400 in the Indian market. Now the Indian motorcycle manufacturer is geared up for another launch.
According to reports, Bajaj will re-launch the Pulsar 200NS FI in the Indian market by the end of this month. The Pulsar 200NS was the most popular model in India when Bajaj pulled the plugs on the 200cc street fighter.
Bajaj Auto discontinued the Pulsar 200NS to make way for the Pulsar AS150 and Pulsar AS200. But the AS series was also discontinued and will be relaunched with the new BS-IV compliant engine.
The latest iteration of the Pulsar 200NS was recently showcased at the Bajaj's dealership meet at Turkey. The new motorcycle features refreshed paint scheme and styling.
The major update on the 2017 Pulsar 200NS FI is the fuel injection technology as opposed to the carburetted unit on the previous model. Apart from that, an engine cowl has been added to the motorcycle.
The 2017 Pulsar 200NS FI sports new decal on the fuel tank, tank extensions and tail section. The rest of the aesthetics on the motorcycle remain identical to the previous model.
The motorcycle will be powered by the existing 199.5cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine delivering 23.1bhp and 18.3Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
