Triumph Motorcycles Could Launch Street Cup In India By Early 2017
Triumph Motorcycles showcased several new models at the 2016 INTERMOT Motor Show. Now, the British-based manufacturer has launched its all-new Bonneville T100 in India. At the event, there was no sign of Triumph Street Cup, which was also expected to be showcased.
Street Cup from Triumph Motorcycles has just gone on sale in the international market. It is most likely that Triumph Motorcycles will bring the Street Cup to India by early 2017. So far, the British-based manufacturer has launched Bonneville T120, Street Twin, and Thruxton in India.
Currently, Triumph Street Twin is priced at Rs. 7.22 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). Bonneville T100 from Triumph Motorcycles is priced at Rs. 7.78 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). It is most likely that the Street Cup will be priced above both the models from Triumph Motorcycles.
Powering the Triumph Street Cup is a 900cc parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 54bhp, along with 80Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of fuel consumption, Triumph Motorcycles claim that the Street Cup will deliver 26.90 km/l.
