Kawasaki will be offering an exuberant discount on their ER-6n model across the Indian market. The discount on the particular model is being offered in an attempt to clear existing stocks. Offer will be available only till stocks last and in limited numbers.
The ER-6n is the naked version of Kawasaki's Ninja 650 touring motorcycle. Unfortunately, the ER-6n model was not an instant hit in the Indian market. The actual price of the model is Rs. 5.37 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai) and will now be offered with a discount worth Rs. 25,000.
Powering the ER-6n is a 649cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is tuned to produce 71.1bhp, along with 63.7Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Unfortunately, no Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is on offer on the model by Kawasaki.
The discount provided by Kawasaki could entice buyers to opt for the ER-6n. In our opinion, the price reduction provides more value to the motorcycle. It is unclear if Kawasaki will continue selling the ER-6n in India as it plans to introduce several new and focused motorcycles in the country.
