Ducati XDiavel S Recalled Over Incorrect Rear Wheel Installation
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati is recalling its XDiavel S cruiser in Canada, Australia, and the UK.
The recall has been issued for over 925 motorcycles, which have been manufactured between November 2015 and May 2016.
The reason for the recall of these bikes is an improperly fitted rear wheel hub. This, in turn, can lead to the failure of the drive pins, resulting in a loss of power or even in a loss of braking.
Ducati will issue a recall for the affected in July and will fix the issue free of charge.
The XDiavel is powered by a1262cc L-twin Testastretta engine which has variable valve timing and produces 155bhp @ 9,500rpm and 129Nm of torque @ 5,000rpm.
The XDiavel was unveiled at the EICMA bike show in Milan in November 2015 and is expected to make its debut in India by the end of 2016.
