Suzuki Let's 110cc Scooter - Mileage & Other Details

Suzuki Let's is the Japanese two wheeler manufacturer's new scooter model for the Indian market. Up till now Suzuki's scooter lineup consisted of the Access and Swish, both 125cc segment models. Let's is the company's first entry into the more popular 110cc segment and is a direct Activa i competitor.

Suzuki has also appointed Parineeti Chopra as the new brand ambassador, specifically for its scooters, alongside Salman Khan who is the face behind the company's motorcycles in India.

Also to be noted is that this is just an unveil and the actual launch will happen in July, during which the price will be announced.

Suzuki Let's

Suzuki Let's comes with a 112.8cc engine that generates 8.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine has been developed using the new Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology that reduces mechanical loss inside engines to improve fuel efficiency.

Suzuki claims a mileage of 63 kmpl for the Let's, which is under standard test conditions and the about the same as the claimed mileage of other scooters in the segment.

Suzuki Let's measures 1810mm long, 660mm wide, 1120mm high and has a 1250mm long wheelbase. Seat height is 765mm and the scooter weighs 98 kg.

The Let's comes with a generous 5.2 liter fuel tank. Technical details are limited to these.

Suzuki is targeting the Let's towards younger buyers (read college going crowd) and will field it against Honda Activa i and Yamaha Ray.

The Let's uses a lot of plastic parts and its clear that Suzuki has tried to cut down production cost through this measure. Even the instrument cluster looks basic. Thus, Suzuki is likely to price the Let's very competitively, most likely at an asking price that's significantly less than both the Activa i and Yamaha Ray.
