Suzuki Swift Style Announced In Japan

Suzuki in Japan has announced a special edition version of the Swift hatchback. Called the Suzuki Swift Style, this version of the popular hatchback comes with plenty of visual enhancements and equipment additions, while keeping the mechanics underneath unchanged.

While not available outside Japan, Maruti Suzuki should perhaps consider launching a similar version of the Swift in India, considering plenty of Swift owners prefer to modify their rides, which tells there is market for visually enhanced versions of the Swift.

Changes to the exterior of the Swift comes in the form of a new grille design, with horizontal chrome bars in place of the mesh grille. The roof comes in white and black contrasting colours.

Also new are the 16-inch alloy wheels with black paint, ORVM with LED turn indicator lamps and a "STYLE" badge at the rear.

The interior receives exclusive upholstery, seat side pockets at the front, instrument panel and door trim ornament, leather wrapped steering wheel with contrasting silver stitching and audio controls, silver stitching on the gear knob and driver armrest.

In terms of features, the Swift Style is equipped with electrically adjustable ORVM, premium UV cut glass, cruise control, 1-step reclining rear seat, heated front seats and automatic headlights and front fog lamps with LED lamp.

Suzuki Swift Style is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that's connected to an optional 7-speed CVT gearbox with paddle shifters.
