Tata To Develop A New Electric Hatch Based On The Moflex Platform
The homegrown automaker is planning to come up with another model which will be a small hatch. The car is expected to be an EV, read more to find out!
Tata Motors earlier this year, launched its Tamo mobility brand with its first ever sports car - the Racemo, at the Geneva Motor Show.
The car was based on the company's new Moflex modular platform and no doubt about it, the Racemo drew a lot of attention at the motor show.
Now, the homegrown automaker is planning to come up with another model which will be a small hatch. This small hatch will be developed through Tamo, but, the car won't be a conventional one, instead, it will be similar to a Smart Car.
The new small hatch is expected to feature high-set seats and an extremely small wheelbase, which, will make it stand alone from the rest of the cars.
As far as we know, the new small hatch is expected to be powered by an all-electric powertrain. On the other hand, Tata has been testing the all-electric powertrains internationally with the carmaker's European Technical Centre.
They also developed the Bolt EV (Electric Vehicle) to display off their EV technology. We have scarce information about the car as of now, but, stay tuned for more.
