Hyundai Creta Facelift Has Been Teased Prior To Its Public Debut
Hyundai Motors have been testing an updated Creta compact SUV for a while now. Now, the Korean-based manufacturer has teased us with another image of their updated Creta. The updated Hyundai Creta will first go on sale in the Brazilian market.
Updated Hyundai Creta teaser image does not reveal too many details. We are sure though that Hyundai has worked on the front and rear styling elements. The Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta will be introduced in other markets as well as an update to the existing compact SUV.
New Creta will be making it's public appearance on November 10, at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show. Unfortunately, the updated compact SUV will in showrooms by 2017, which will then be followed by deliveries. 2017 Creta will be manufactured at Hyundai's facility in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo.
Powering the Brazilian-spec Hyundai Creta is a 1.6-litre CVVT flex-fuel engine. This engine produces 128bhp, along with 161.81Nm of torque. Hyundai is likely to the engine to a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
Stay tuned as we follow the Hyundai Creta launch in Brazil. It is most likely that Hyundai will bring the Brazilian-spec Creta to India soon. In India, this will be an updated version of the compact SUV and we expect it to launch sometime during 2017.
