Hyundai Creta Facelift Breaks Cover At 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show
The Hyundai Creta facelift has been officially unveiled at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil.
Hyundai has officially unveiled the Brazilian-spec Creta SUV which is also said to be the global facelifted Creta at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show.
The Brazilian version of the Hyundai Creta gets a new front fascia with redesigned front grille, slightly modified headlamp with LED DRL's, restyled air intake, new bumper and horizontal foglamps.
The rear of the new facelifted Creta gets unique tail lights and bumper. The interior of the new Creta has also been overhauled to incorporate new features.
The new Creta's interior comes with new backlight for climate control unit and the infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with smartphone integration.
The safety features in the new SUV includes six airbags and stability control. But it's still unknown that whether these features are standard across all variants or only on top of the line trims.
The new Creta will be available with two engine options. A 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine which produces 130bhp and 162Nm of torque. The 2-litre engine churns out 166bhp and 201Nm of torque.
The 1.6-litre engine will be offered in manual and automatic gearbox; whereas, the 2-litre variant will be available in automatic transmission.
The facelifted Creta will go on sale in Brazil from January 2017. The new Creta is expected to hit Indian market by late 2017.
