2017 Hyundai Verna Breaks Cover — In Pics
The 2017 Hyundai Verna has made its official debut at the 2016 Chengdu Motor Show. The car will hit the Chinese market, before entering other worldwide markets, including India.
The new Verna is inspired by Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. The exterior of the car features large hexagonal grill, headlamps with projector lighting, LED DRL's, LED taillamps, redesigned C-pillar, sportier bumper with angular fog lamps and rear mounted spoiler.
The 2017 Verna will be offered in two options, with a 1.4-litre or 1.6-litre petrol engine, which churns out 100bhp and 123bhp respectively. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Automatic comes as an option, as well.
The new Verna, which is targeted to Chinese market, gets an all black interior with silver trim. Interior is equipped with HVAC vents, automatic climate control, 8-inch touch screen and start/stop button.
Coming to the dimensions of the 2017 Verna, it measures 4,380mm long, 1,728mm wide, 1,460mm high, and 2,600mm in terms of wheelbase.
The 2017 Hyundai Verna is definitely an eye candy with its features and looks, but sadly, we have to await Hyundai's decision as to when the 2017 Verna will hit the Indian market.
