Tata Motors have announced that Argentinian Football player, Lionel Messi is the company's global brand ambassador. Messi will be involved in promoting and endorsing Tata passenger vehicles. The Indian automobile brand will be partnering with the Argentine footballer in a long term deal.
Lionel Messi is an Argentine footballer, who has won the 'Best Player of the World' four times in a row. He currently plays for Spanish football club, Barcelona. Messi ropes in an astounding salary of 20 million Euros just by playing football.
Tata Motors is more than happy to be associated with a footballer who is known for his personality on and off the football ground. Lionel Messi was gifted a Tata personalised football jersey by Mayank Pareek, the President of Passenger Vehicles at Tata Motors.
Recently, Tata Motors launched its all-new next-gen products for Indian market. They began with the compact sedan, which was christened ‘Zest' and was followed by the launch of their new hatchback ‘Bolt'. The company also provided their most affordable offering, the Nano GenX with modern updates.
To attract young and modern buyers in India and across the globe, Tata will be revamping their entire portfolio. The next products to be launched in India is the ‘Kite', which is a compact hatchback and will be followed by Tata's new and modern SUV, called ‘Hexa', which will be launched by mid-2016.
