Video: An Idling Ford GT Is The Devil’s Workshop

By Santosh
One of the undisputed stars of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show has teased us with a sample of its engine sound and exhaust note. Ford was careful not to reveal completely what is sure to be an absolute treat of a sound, and the driver is seen almost gingerly moving the supercar across the stand.
Gone is the former V8 growl, in comes a throaty twin-turbo V6 idle that does duty in the GT. You can even hear the EcoBoost engine rev a couple of times if you stick with the clip till the end.
We're obviously dying to experience the Ford GT's Full Monty, and the company will no doubt give its fans plenty to hear about soon. But till then, this video of the Ford GT starting up and hinting at its extremity will have to suffice!
