Suzuki Celerio At Geneva Motor Show
Suzuki unveiled the Celerio first at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi however, the compact car has made its way into 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It will replace the Alto and Splash in UK markets, while it replaced the A-Star and Estilo in India.
The Japanese car manufacturer will compete with Hyundai i10 along with Toyota's latest offering the Aygo.
This is Celerio's first international debut, the car is made in India and is similar to the car on sale in India however, certain features have been added. The UK spec car will receive Auto engine start/stop function for better fuel efficiency as well as reduction in emissions.
The UK Celerio will also feature an auto gear shift, which Suzuki claims will deliver better or on par fuel efficiency compared to manual transmission.

The Japanese car manufacturer will begin selling Celerio by the end of 2014 in UK. The car will have to pass the stringent Euro NCAP test and Suzuki believes it will receive a 4-star rating.
The European Suzuki Celerio will have a better safety package, than the one available back in India.
It is a great feeling however, to know a global product is made in India, sold first in India and then will be provided to the World. Suzuki has a strong presence in European countries with their Swift Sports offering.
