Mahindra Next Gen Scorpio Launching On 25th September
India's largest seller of Utility Vehicles Mahindra will be launching their next generation Scorpio on 25th of September, 2014. They have given the vehicle a complete makeover from the previous generation.
The 2014 Scorpio has been caught testing several times over the past few months in and around Mumbai-Pune. Mahindra has had the Scorpio in India for a long time and this is the first major overhaul to the design of their made in India SUV.
The Indian manufacturer has begun accepting bookings for their new Scorpio and have tied up with SnapDeal. They had earlier opened exclusive bookings for their existing customers in India. It was a good effort to put their customers ahead of others providing an exclusive feel.
The next generation Scorpio can be booked at a sum of INR 20,000, Mahindra dealerships claim to have received decent amount of queries. Price and details of the 2014 Scorpio has been withheld and will be revealed at the launch on 25th of September, 2014.
Mahindra is expected to introduce new engine trims with their new Scorpio. They will introduce new trim levels for their SUV like S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10. The next generation Scorpio will also get new paint schemes like Diamond White, Fiery Black, Rocky Beige, Java Brown and Mist Silver. They will have two special colour tones on offer Molten Red and Regal Blue.
The Indian manufacturer is set to launch its next generation Scorpio on 25th of September, 2014. We will be present at the event and will be providing live news from the launch venue so stay tuned. We expect Mahindra to price its 2014 Scorpio closer to the previous gen model, making it very competitive to its challengers.
