Tesla Model Y Launched In 3 Cities – On-Road Price Revealed!

The wait for Tesla's official entry has come to an end with the official launch of the Tesla Model Y electric SUV in India. Prices for the Tesla Model Y starts at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

That said, the Tesla Model Y is available in 2 variants - RWD, and RWD Long Range. The latter is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom), and prices can soon increase once you start adding in optional extras.

Tesla Model Y On-Road Price Details

Contrary to initial reports, Tesla not only revealed the prices for the Model Y in Mumbai but also for 2 other cities—Delhi and Gurugram. According to Tesla's official website, the Tesla Model Y on-road pricing includes the "Administration and Service Fee" of Rs 50,000 and the 18% GST.

Tesla Model Y On-Road Price—Delhi

The on-road price for the newly launched Tesla Model Y starts at Rs 61.06 lakh for the RWD variant, whereas on-road price for the RWD Long-Range version of the Tesla Model Y stands at Rs 69.14 lakh.

Tesla Model Y On-Road Price—Mumbai

The Tesla Model Y RWD variant's on-road price in Mumbai starts at Rs 61.07 lakh. On the other hand, the Model Y RWD Long-Range version costs Rs 69.15 lakh.

Tesla Model Y On-Road Price—Gurugram

On-road prices for the Tesla Model Y in Gurugram stands at Rs 66.77 lakh for the RWD variant, and Rs 75.61 lakh for the RWD Long-Range iteration. This makes the Tesla Model Y slightly more expensive in Gurugram compared to Delhi and Mumbai.

The on-road price difference for the Tesla Model Y in Delhi and Mumbai stands just below Rs 1,000. However, this is not the case in Gurugram; as a result, the Tesla Model Y in Gurugram is significantly more expensive despite sporting the same ex-showroom price as Delhi and Mumbai.
