Tata Curvv ICE To Be Launched On September 2: All Details Here
Tata Motors recently launched the Tata Curvv EV in India. Though the company revealed a few specifications about the Tata Curvv (ICE), the prices of this model will be revealed on 2nd September.
Tata Curvv ICE: Introduction
The introduction of the Curvv marks a significant step for Tata Motors as it enters the compact SUV market. The Curvv boasts a coupe SUV design with a sleek sloping roofline. Although it resembles its smaller sibling, the Nexon, the Curvv is built on the new modular and scalable ATLAS platform.

The Curvv ICE will compete with models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Citroen C3 Aircross and upcoming Citroen Basalt. To offer a broad range of choices, Tata is launching the Curvv ICE in six main trim levels or Personas - Smart, Pure+, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, Accomplished+ A.
Tata Curvv ICE: Variants & Features
Top-spec Accomplished+ A includes all premium features. The exterior highlights of the Curvv include a stylish coupe-like sloping roofline, an attractive fascia with LED headlights and fog lights with cornering function. It also features sequential turn indicators, gloss-black painted body cladding, flush door handles, large 18-inch alloy wheels and an electric tailgate.
Inside the top variants are equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also a 10.2-inch instrumentation screen with full-width navigation. Other features include ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a 4-spoke steering wheel from the Harrier model, auto climate control and rear AC vents.

Tata Curvv ICE: Safety Tech
For safety features across all variants include six airbags as standard. Depending on the variant chosen there are additional safety features such as all-four disc brakes TPMS TCS ESP electronic parking brake with auto hold a 360-degree camera Level-2 ADAS suite blindspot assist feed on the instrument screen among others.
Tata Curvv ICE: Engine Options
The Curvv ICE offers three engine options: a 1.2L turbo petrol engine producing 120 bhp and 170 Nm torque; a 1.5L diesel engine delivering 118 bhp and 260 Nm torque; and a 1.2L GDI turbo petrol engine generating 125 bhp and 250Nm torque. All these engines come with a quick-shifting DCA gearbox option.
Tata Curvv ICE: Dimensions & Storage
The Tata Curvv measures larger than the Nexon at 4,310 mm in length 1,810 mm in width and 1,637 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. It offers ample storage space including a boot capacity of 500L expandable to 973L using the 60:40 split seats configuration along with generous storage in door panels glovebox and centre console.
The introductory pricing for the Curvv ICE is expected to be around Rs 10 lakh (Ex-showroom). This competitive pricing along with its extensive feature list positions it well against its rivals in the compact SUV segment.
