Tata Curvv EV Launched In India At Rs 17.49 Lakh: 585km Range, 5 Trims & More
Tata Motors has finally launched the much-awaited Tata Curvv EV electric SUV Coupe in India. The model will be called the Tata Curvv.ev and the price starts at at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tata Curvv EV is available in 5 trim levels and two battery pack options - 55kWh and 45kWh. The MIDC range for the 55kWh battery pack variant of the Tata Curvv EV is rated as 585km, whereas the 45kWh battery pack variant is able to cover a distance of 502km.

Additionally, Tata Motors claims that the Tata Curvv EV can add 150km of range in just 15 minutes using a suitable fastcharger. Moreover, charging from 10% to 80% takes just 40 minutes using a 70kW charger. The model also features V2V and V2L functions.
To improve the dynamics of the Tata Curvv EV, the model's CG has been lowered by 60mm and features a perfect 50:50 weight distribution. That being said, the ground clearance of the model stands at a very respectable 190mm.
In terms of performance, the Tata Curvv features a 163bhp electric motor which is capable of accelerating the car to 100km/h in just 8.6 seconds. Furthermore, the top speed of the Curvv EV is rated as 160km/h.
Despite the Coupe-like stance, the Tata Curvv EV is a practical SUV with features such as 60:40 split rear seats. Furthermore, the model comes with an enormous 500-litre boot space. Other noticeable highlights include its 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 215/55 tyres.
That being said, the Tata Curvv EV comes loaded with plenty of tech including Level 2 ADAS tech, digital driver's display, large infotainment unit, ventilated front seats, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, external light graphics, powered tailgate, air filter and much more.
In terms of colour options, the new Tata Curvv EV is available in 5 shades including Virtual Sunrise, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, and Empowered Oxide. That being said, the Empowered Oxide shade is exclusive to top-spec variants.
At present, the bookings for the newly launched Tata Curvv.ev is set to start on August 12, and the test drives are said to commence two days later on August 14.
