Tata Curvv EV Variants Explained In Detail: Features, Price & More
Tata Motors has launched the new Curvv EV in India, marking it as their flagship electric model. The pricing ranges from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh. This model is Tata's fifth electric vehicle in the country and comes in five trims: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A.
Tata Curvv EV offers two battery options. The 45kWh battery powers the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S variants, providing a MIDC-certified range of 502km. The larger 55kWh battery is available with the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants, offering a range of 585km. The smaller battery variants feature a 150hp motor, while the larger ones come with a 167hp motor.
Curvv EV Creative
The Creative trim is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh and includes features like LED headlamps with Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), flush door handles, and 17-inch steel wheels. It also has six airbags, ESP, driver doze-off alert, disc brakes on all wheels, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a rear camera.
Curvv EV Accomplished
The Accomplished trim costs between Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs 19.25 lakh depending on the battery size. It adds projector headlamps, connected tail-lamps, front fog lamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels over the Creative trim. Additional features include electrically foldable wing mirrors, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker system, leatherette upholstery, and Alexa Voice Assistant.
Curvv EV Accomplished+ S
The Accomplished+ S variant is priced between Rs 19.29 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh. It includes features like a 360-degree camera, blind-spot view monitor, front parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, JBL sound modes, wireless smartphone charger, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps and defogger.
Curvv EV Empowered+
The Empowered+ trim costs Rs 21.25 lakh and comes with smart digital lights with charging indicators and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also offers ambient lighting, power-adjustable driver's seat with six-way adjustable co-driver's seat, rear armrest with cup holders, a Harman touchscreen system with nine speakers by JBL.
Curvv EV Empowered+ A
The top-end Empowered+ A variant is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh and includes advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning. Other features include lane keep assist, blind spot detection system along with lane change alert system for enhanced safety.
This variant also boasts forward collision warning systems along with automatic emergency braking for added security during drives. High beam assist ensures better visibility at night while traffic sign recognition aids in safer driving practices.
Market Competition
Currently competing directly with the MG ZS EV (Rs 18.98 lakh-25.44 lakh), the Curvv EV's pricing overlaps with other models like the Nexon EV (Rs 14.49 lakh-19.49 lakh) and Mahindra XUV400 (Rs 15.49 lakh-17.69 lakh). All prices are ex-showroom India.
