Tata Curvv EV: Charging & Range

The 45kWh battery provides an MIDC-certified range of up to 502km, while the 55kWh battery extends this range to 585km. However, according to Tata's C75 standard testing, which is closer to real-world conditions, the long-range model can achieve between 400-425km on a single charge, and the 45kWh version can cover 330-350km.

Tata claims that using a 70kW charger, the battery can gain up to 150km worth of charge in just 15 minutes. Also, charging from 10% to 80% takes just about 40 minutes. The vehicle also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging.

Tata Curvv EV: Performance

The Curvv EV's motor configurations vary with the battery size. The 55kWh variants feature a front-mounted motor producing 165hp and can accelerate from 0-100kph in a claimed time of 8.6 seconds. The top speed for these models is set at 160kph. On the other hand, the 45kWh variants come with a slightly less powerful motor generating 150hp.

Tata Curvv EV: Interior Features

Inside, the Curvv EV shares its layout with its ICE counterpart but distinguishes itself with white and grey dual-tone colours instead of red and grey. A notable feature is the familiar dashboard design akin to that of the Nexon, featuring a centralised 12.3-inch floating infotainment touchscreen and touch-based climate control panel below it.

The steering wheel resembles that of the Harrier and includes paddle shifters for adjusting regenerative braking modes. Higher-end models boast a digital instrument cluster with navigation on a 10.25-inch display. Other interior highlights include leatherette upholstery, ventilated six-way adjustable front seats, cooled glove box, wireless charging pad, and connected car technology via the Arcade.ev app suite.

Tata Curvv EV: Safety Features

Safety is paramount in the Curvv EV with six airbags included as standard along with an electronic parking brake featuring auto hold function, hill-start assist, descent assist, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), driver drowsiness alert system, blind spot monitor, and Level 2 ADAS features. Additionally, it has sound alerts up to speeds of 20kph to warn pedestrians about its presence.
