Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition: Top Highlights You Need To Know
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, first showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, has been well received in India and has achieved decent sales figures. Recently, the company introduced a special edition called the Fronx Velocity Edition, which is now available in 14 variants across all three engine options. This new edition features several cosmetic tweaks and standard accessories.
Under The SkinMaruti Suzuki has not made any mechanical changes to the Fronx Velocity Edition. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

The 1.2-litre unit generates 88 bhp and a peak torque output of 113 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. The turbo petrol engine produces 99 bhp and 148 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition: Variants
The Sigma variant of the Velocity Edition comes with black and red front bumper garnish, headlamp and wheel arch garnishes, and front grille garnish. The Delta trims (Delta, Delta+, and Delta+ (O)) feature additional red inserts in body side moulding, black and red painted rear bumper garnish, illuminated door sill guard, red dash designer mat, black and red spoiler extender, door visors, ORVM covers with red dash finish, and back door garnishes.
Variants With Boosterjet Engine
The BoosterJet engine is offered in Delta+, Alpha, and Zeta variants for the Fronx Velocity Edition 1.0L. These models receive the same upgrades as the 1.2L Delta range but also include NexCross Bordeaux seat covers, an interior styling kit with carbon fibre finish, and a 3D boot mat.
In just over a year since its launch, Maruti Suzuki's Fronx crossover has surpassed the 1.5 lakh unit sales milestone in India. This makes the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV one of many successful stories from the automaker.
