Kia Motor recently launched the new Kia EV9 electric SUV in India, this model has been introduced exclusively in its high-end GT-Line variant. This model, arriving on Indian shores as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), now becomes the pinnacle of Kia's lineup in the country, and is priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom).

The Kia EV9 is powered by a hefty 99.8kWh battery pack that supplies energy to two electric motors, delivering total output of 384hp and 700Nm of torque. an array of features and sports a six-seater configuration, ensuring both luxury and performance with its dual electric motors delivering 384hp and 700Nm.

This powertrain setup allows the EV9 to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 5.3 seconds. Moreover, it boasts an impressive range of 561km, as certified by ARAI, and its battery can be quickly recharged from 10-80% in only 24 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger.
Exterior
The EV9 showcases an elegant exterior design highlighted by vertically aligned LED headlamps paired with L-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and a modern closed-off grille adorned with integrated digital-pattern lighting. The rear of the SUV is equally stylish, featuring vertical LED tail-lamps, a simplistic tailgate design, a spoiler, and a dual-tone bumper equipped with a skid plate.
Furthermore, the dimensions of the Kia EV9 SUV reveal its substantial presence, measuring 5,015mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,780mm in height, with a lengthy wheelbase of 3,100mm.

The Kia EV9 greets passengers with a sophisticated dual-screen setup, consisting of a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster of the same size. Safety Measures
Safety is paramount in the EV9, which is equipped with 10 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), hill descent control, vehicle stability management, parking sensors on all sides, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree camera. Additionally, it features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including Forward Collision Warning and Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, High Beam Assist, and Lane Keep Assist.
