Updated Citroen Aircross SUV: Top 5 Things To Know
The Aircross SUV has received a notable update from Citroen, featuring a new engine and additional features. The 'C3' prefix has been removed, and the vehicle is now simply called the Aircross SUV.
Bookings, Price & Deliveries
Prices for this updated model range from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 13.99 lakh for the top-spec turbo-AT variant. Bookings are open, with deliveries starting on October 8.

New Features Enhance
The Aircross SUV now boasts automatic climate control and LED headlamps on its top trims. Other updates include relocating rear power-window buttons to door pads, adding a rear AC vent, and introducing a new grab handle on the passenger side. Additionally, there are electrically folding wing mirrors, a new flip key, a larger sliding front armrest, and soft-touch dashboard materials.
Additional features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and connected car technology. Higher-spec Plus and Max trims offer an optional third row for Rs 35,000 extra.

Enhanced Safety
Safety enhancements include six airbags and seat belt reminders for all seats as standard features. The model also features a rear parking camera with sensors, and hill-start assist. These updates significantly improve the vehicle's value proposition despite being introduced later than expected.
Engine Options and Pricing
A new 82hp, 115Nm 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is now available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine option was previously offered with the C3 hatchback and helps lower the starting price of the Aircross SUV. The existing 110hp, 190Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine remains unchanged.

This turbo engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The introduction of these options provides customers with more flexibility in choosing their preferred driving experience.
Competitive Positioning
The Aircross SUV competes with models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate. However, it is positioned towards the lower end of this segment in terms of pricing. This strategic positioning allows Citroen to attract budget-conscious buyers seeking value without compromising on essential features.
