When Honda launched the Elevate SUV in India, many criticised it for lacking some important features which were already offered by some of its rivals.

In fact, many criticised Honda for not offering ventilated seats - An important feature in this category and a very useful feature to have in hot climate. However, Honda seems to have addressed this issue by offering this feature as an accessory.

In addition to the ventilation function, this accessory also comes with a massage function. This is also a very useful feature to have, especially during long journeys. This accessory draws its power from a standard 12V socket, making it extremely versatile.

Since the ventilated and massaging accessory comes in the form of a seat cover, it is portable and can be switched between users. Also, Honda Elevate customers can even use this accessory on the rear seat, making it very convenient for chauffeur-driven customers.

It is also worth mentioning that the ventilated and massaging seat cover can be even installed in the base variants. This makes it a very attractive proposition and unlike the sunroof, this accessory (feature) can be extremely useful.

Speaking about the Honda Elevate ventilated and massaging seat cover, this Honda accessory comes with three settings for the seat ventilation function and just one setting for the massaging function.

Speaking about the Honda Elevate, the SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre, DOHC, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This is the same engine that powers the 5th Gen Honda City and the engine is tuned to produce 119.4bhp at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm.

In terms of dimensions, the new Elevate SUV measures 4,312mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,650mm tall, and sports a wheelbase of 2,650mm. This means the Honda Elevate SUV is 12mm longer, 15mm taller, and sports a 40mm longer wheelbase than the Hyundai Creta SUV.

However, despite its larger exterior dimensions, the turning radius of the Honda Elevate SUV is relatively small at just 5.2 metres. Additionally, the boot space of the Honda Elevate SUV measures 458 litres.

In terms of features, the Honda Elevate SUV comes equipped with features such as a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless smartphone integration, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, climate control unit, rear AC vents, wireless charging pad, rear-view camera, connected-car tech, and ADAS tech.
