Honda Cars India recently launched the new Honda Elevate SUV in India. That being said, if you are planning to buy this SUV, here are the top 5 things you need to know about the Honda Elevate SUV.
Powertrain: The new Honda Elevate SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre, DOHC, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This is the same engine that powers the 5th Gen Honda City and it is tuned to produce 119.4bhp at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm.

Moreover, much like the 5th Gen Honda City sedan sold in India, the new Honda Elevate SUV can also be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a smooth-shifting CVT gearbox.
Variants: The new Honda Elevate SUV will be offered in 4 trim levels including SV, V, VX, and ZX. Out of these trim levels, the 'SV' is the base model and this trim level with manual transmission is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

That being said, the manual variant of the Honda Elevate SUV will be offered in all of the above trim levels. However, the CVT variant of the Elevate SUV will be available in V, VX, and ZX trim levels.
Colours: In terms of colour options, the new Honda Elevate SUV is offered in 10 colour options. These colour options include 7 monotone and 3 dual-tone shades. It is also worth mentioning that the dual-tone shades come with a contrasting Black roof.

Dual-tone colour options include Radiant Red, Phoenix Orange, and Platinum White. On the other hand, monotone shades include Obsidian Blue, Lunar Silver, Metroid Grey, Golden Brown, and all the above shades available with the dual-tone scheme.
Features: The new Honda Elevate SUV comes equipped with features such as a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless smartphone integration, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charging pad, rear-view camera, connected-car tech, and ADAS tech.
Others: In terms of dimensions, the new Elevate SUV measures 4,312mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,650mm tall, and sports a wheelbase of 2,650mm. This means the Honda Elevate SUV is 12mm longer, 15mm taller, and sports a 40mm longer wheelbase than the Hyundai Creta SUV.
However, despite its larger exterior dimensions, the turning radius of the Honda Elevate SUV is relatively small at just 5.2 metres. Additionally, the boot space of the Honda Elevate SUV measures 458 litres.
Thoughts: With a total of 4 manual variants and 3 automatic variants, we expect the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV to appeal to a wider audience. Furthermore, we also expect this upcoming SUV from Honda to immediately gain traction in the Indian market.
