Tata Nexon EV Facelift Deliveries Commence In India – High Demand
Tata Motors recently launched the Tata Nexon EV facelift in India. The model has received an overwhelming response from the public and we expect the automaker to dominate the EV sector in the coming years as well.
After the launch of the Tata Nexon EV facelift, Tata Motors has now commenced the deliveries of the model in India. As such, very soon we can see multiple units of Tata Nexon EV facelift SUVs running on the Indian roads.
That being said, the new Tata Nexon EV facelift comes in two avatars - Mid Range, and Long Range. Moreover, prices for the Tata Nexon EV facelift start from Rs 14.74 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the Tata Nexon EV facelift Long Range prices start from Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
Coming to the powertrain, the Tata Nexon EV facelift Mid Range uses the same 127bhp electric motor with 215Nm of torque as the previous model (Tata Nexon EV Prime). However, the updated model can cover 325 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack.
On the other hand, the Long Range variant of the Tata Nexon EV facelift sports an all-new Gen2 powertrain. This new powertrain is capable of running up to 16,000rpm, resulting in an increased top speed of 150km/h (up by 30km/h).
Furthermore, this new electric motor produces 142.6bhp and 215Nm of peak torque. This has also helped acceleration and the updated model can now sprint to 100km/h in just 8.9 seconds. Additionally, the model is also more efficient with a 465-kilometre range from its 40.5kWh battery pack.
Noticeable features in the new Nexon EV facelift include a 360-degree surround-view camera, connected car tech, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, rear AC vents, a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, a new fully digital instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel and more.
Furthermore, Tata Motors has stepped up the standardised safety kit game with features such as 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS, EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchoring points, parking sensors, emergency and breakdown call assistance, and more.
