New Maruti Wagon R Spied Undisguised — Starts Arriving At Dealerships Ahead Of Launch
Maruti Suzuki will be launching its latest-generation Wagon R hatchback on the 23rd of January. Bookings for the new Wagon R has commenced for an amount of Rs 11,000. Ahead of its launch, the new Maruti Wagon R has been spied undisguised as it starts arriving at dealerships.
The latest spy pics of the new Wagon R, showcase it at the company dealerships stockyard, completely undisguised. The new Wagon R can be seen in the new Autumn Orange paint scheme — one of the five available exterior colour options.

The spy pics clearly showcase both the exterior and interiors of the upcoming tall boy hatchback. It clearly showcases the updated front, side and rear design while also showcasing the features and equipment on the interiors
Some of the exterior features on the new Wagon R include refreshed headlamps design, new grille, floating roof, vertically-stacked tail lights and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.
Inside, the new Wagon R will offer steering-mounted audio controls, power windows, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, silver accents around the AC vents and manual AC controls; to name a few.

The new Maruti Wagon R will be based on the company's new HEARTECT platform. This is the same platform which underpins the Swift and the Baleno. The new platform will provide larger overall dimensions, translating to better cabin space.
The new Wagon R will be available in three basic trims - LXi, VXi and ZXi. The new Wagon R hatchback will come with two petrol engine options: 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre units.
The 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine will produce 67bhp and 90Nm of torque while the 1.2-litre four-cylinder will churn out 90bhp and 113Nm of torque. All variants will come mated to a standard five-speed gearbox. The mid and high-spec trims will further get the option of Maruti's AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission as well.

Thoughts On The New Maruti Wagon R Spied At Dealerships
The new Maruti Wagon R is scheduled to go on sale in the Indian market on the 23rd of January. With bookings already open, deliveries are said to begin from the day of launch. The new Wagon R is expected to be priced around Rs 4.5 lakh, ex-showroom and will rival the likes of the Hyundai Santro, Datsun GO and the Renault Kwid.
