Toyota Yaris Details Revealed Ahead Of Launch; Prices, Variants, Specifications And Features
The List of variants and features on the upcoming Toyota Yaris has been revealed ahead of its launch on 18th May. Here is the break up of all the variant-wise features on expected on the Yaris.
As reported earlier, the Toyota Yaris is all set to be launched in India on 18th May. Now, the details of all the Yaris variants along with its features have been revealed. Prices for the Toyota Yaris Ranged between Rs 8.75 to 14.07 lakh, ex-showroom (India).
The Toyota Yaris will be available in four variants: J, G, V and VX. All variants will come with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 108bhp and 140Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a manual or CVT automatic gearbox. However, the top-end VX variant will miss out on the manual transmission receiving only the CVT as standard.

Apart from this, the Toyota Yaris will feature seven airbags as standard among all four of its variants. With six colour options to choose from: Phantom Brown, Wildfire Red, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Super White.

The Toyota Yaris J Variant: (Rs 8.75 - 9.95 lakhs)
Seven Airbags, ABS with EBD, Disc and Drum Brakes at the front and rear respectively, Engine Immobiliser, Central Locking, power steering, Tilt Steering Adjustment, Keyless Entry, Power Window, Electrically Adjustable ORVMs, Projector Headlamps (Halogen), Driver Seat Height Adjustment, Cooled Glove Box, Instrument Cluster with LCD multi-Info Display, Rear Armrest, Basic four speaker Audio System and AC with manual control.
The Toyota Yaris G Variant: (Rs 10.56 - 11.76 lakhs)
Rear Parking Sensor, Front and Rear Fog Lamps, Speed and impact sensing auto door lock and unlock respectively, rear defogger, Seven-inch infotainment system with four speakers, chrome Grille, Electrically retractable ORVMs with turn indicators, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Smart Entry and Push Button Start.
The Toyota Yaris V Variant: (Rs 11.70 - 12.90 lakh)
Disc Brakes on all four wheels, Seven-inch Infotainment System with six speakers, Cruise Control, LED Taillamps, Auto headlamps with Follow Me Home feature, 15-inch Alloy Wheels, Front and Rear Parking Sensors and Rain sensing wipers.
The Toyota Yaris VX Variant: (Rs 12.85 - 14.07 lakh)
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Paddle Shifters, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist, Leather seats, Eight-way Adjustment for Driver Seat, Rear Sunshade, LED DRLs and Chrome Door Handles.

The bookings for the sedan has already started, with an amount of Rs 50,000. The Toyota Yaris comes with a starting price of Rs 8.75 lakh, ex-showroom (India). Placed between the Etios and Corolla, the Yaris, will take on rivals such as the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna.
