As reported earlier, the Toyota Yaris is all set to be launched in India on 18th May. Now, according to recent reports from Team-BHP, details of all the Yaris variants along with its features have been leaked.
According to reports, the Toyota Yaris will get four variants: J, G, V and VX. All variants will come with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 108bhp and 140Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a manual or CVT automatic gearbox. However, the top-end VX variant will miss out on the manual transmission receiving only the CVT as standard.
Apart from this, the Toyota Yaris will feature seven airbags as standard among all four of its variants. With six colour options to choose from: Phantom Brown, Wildfire Red, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Super White.

The ‘J' variant of the Toyota Yaris features:
Seven Airbags, ABS with EBD, Disc and Drum Brakes at the front and rear respectively, Engine Immobiliser, Central Locking, power steering, Tilt Steering Adjustment, Keyless Entry, Power Window, Electrically Adjustable ORVMs, Projector Headlamps (Halogen), Driver Seat Height Adjustment, Cooled Glove Box, Instrument Cluster with LCD multi-Info Display, Rear Armrest, Basic four speaker Audio System and AC with manual control.
The ‘G' variant features:
Rear Parking Sensor, Front and Rear Fog Lamps, Speed and impact sensing auto door lock and unlock respectively, rear defogger, Seven-inch infotainment system with four speakers, chrome Grille, Electrically retractable ORVMs with turn indicators, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, Smart Entry and Push Button Start.
The ‘V' Variant features:
Disc Brakes on all four wheels, Seven-inch Infotainment System with six speakers, Cruise Control, LED Taillamps, Auto headlamps with Follow Me Home feature, 15-inch Alloy Wheels, Front and Rear Parking Sensors and Rain sensing wipers.
The top-end ‘VX' variant features:
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Paddle Shifters, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist, Leather seats, Eight-way Adjustment for Driver Seat, Rear Sunshade, LED DRLs and Chrome Door Handles.

Thoughts On The Toyota Yaris Variant List
The bookings for the sedan has already started, with an amount of Rs 50,000. The Toyota Yaris can be expected to have a starting price between Rs 10 - 12 lakh, ex-showroom. Placed between the Etios and Corolla, the Yaris, will take on rivals such as the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna.
