Honda has launched the new Amaze in India at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new Honda Amaze was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 and the bookings for the new-gen Amaze is open in the country. The Honda Amaze 2018 gets an all-new design language and new features.

The new Honda Amaze 2018 features an all-new design language inspired by the Honda City. The front fascia of the new Amaze sports an upright stance with a prominent chrome strip on the grille. The sedan also features new angular headlamps and revamped bumper with fog lamp housings.

The new Honda Amaze 2018 draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 88bhp and 109Nm of torque and the diesel engine is good for 100bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
On the mechanical front, the new Honda Amaze does not get any changes except for the new CVT gearbox. Another prominent highlight is the diesel CVT combo. The power figures also remain the same as the old Amaze.
The new Honda Amaze 2018 is based on an all-new platform which is lighter, stiffer and stronger. The new Amaze should return improved mileage figures as compared to the old Amaze.
