New Honda Amaze Key Features Revealed Ahead Of Launch
onda is all set to launch the new Amaze in India.
Honda is all set to launch the new Amaze in India in the coming months. The second-gen Amaze was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 and the compact sedan sports a new design and segment-first features. We have already reported about the bookings of the new Amaze.
Now, Honda has released an official video of the key features of the new Amaze ahead of its launch. The new Amaze also comes with segment-first features which will spice up the compact sedan segment in the country. The latest video highlights the key features of the new Amaze. The features include engine start/stop button and shark fin antenna. The new Honda Amaze also comes with first-in-segment features such as CVT automatic gearbox in the diesel version and paddle shifters.

On the design front, the new Honda Amaze features a thick chrome garnish with the Honda logo at the front and the front grille is flanked by newly designed headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The new Amaze also gets a new boot lid with LED tail light cluster.
The video also reveals the interior of the new Amaze which features a dual-tone dashboard with the beige and black theme. The interior is also equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, touch buttons for the climate control and steering-mounted controls.
Other key features of the new Honda Amaze include cruise control, climate control, keyless entry and reverse parking camera with sensors. The new Honda Amaze is equipped with larger 15-inch alloy wheels as opposed to the 14-inch wheels on the current-gen model.
The new Amaze is likely to draw power from the existing 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 88bhp and 109Nm of torque and the diesel engine is good for 100bhp and 200Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.

The new Honda Amaze features an all-new design language which gives the compact sedan a premium look. On the inside, the new Amaze comes loaded with several new features which set a new benchmark in the compact sedan segment. When launched, the new Honda Amaze will rival the likes of Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Tigor.
