Maruti Ignis Limited Edition Launched In India: Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Ignis Limited Edition in the Indian market. The Maruti Ignis Limited Edition is launched to improve the sales of the hatchback in the country as the festive season has just begun.
Maruti Suzuki is yet to reveal the pricing and variants of the Ignis Limited Edition model. But the details of the new limited edition model is revealed on the official Nexa website. The Maruti Ignis Limited Edition features a host of updates to the exterior and interior.
On the exterior, the new Ignis Limited Edition gets new design elements such as rugged body kit with silver faux skid plates, tough cladding on the doors and a sporty roof spoiler. All these design elements give the Ignis a rugged look as compared to the standard variant of the Ignis.
The interior of the Maruti Ignis Limited Edition features premium seat upholstery and floor mats. Apart from that, the design of the dashboard and features remain the same as the standard Ignis. The Maruti Ignis Limited Edition is based on the Delta trim which comes with a host of features.
The Maruti Ignis Limited Edition is equipped with features such as a 2-Din audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, electrically adjustable ORVMs and keyless entry. The safety features of the hatchback include dual front airbags and ABS with EBD.
The Ignis Limited Edition will draw power from the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 84bhp and 115Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The diesel variant of the Ignis was discontinued due to poor sales.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Ignis Limited Edition to boost the sales of the crossover hatchback as the festive season has just begun in the country. The limited edition Ignis gets only cosmetic updates. The Ignis Limited Edition will rival the likes of Ford Freestyle and the recently launched Tata Tiago NRG.
