Hyundai India is offering discounts to some of its important models, ahead of this year-end. It is common among manufacturers to offer discounts for products, in order to clear the stocks of the previous year. This is also the time of the year when a particular vehicle gets the maximum discount.
As for the discounts from Hyundai, the offers will be available till stocks last or till the end of November 2018. Some models, including the Creta and the new Santro (read our first look review here), do not come under the offer. However, DriveSpark's sources have confirmed that there will also be a corporate discount for the other models, over the year-end discounts.
Do note that the discount offers might vary depending on the dealership and its location, and would also include exchange bonuses. With that being said, below are the Hyundai models eligible for the discount!
(Click on the model name to get its full details)
Discount: Rs 60,000
The Hyundai Eon is the most affordable car from the South Korean brand in India. Initially, it was thought that the Eon will be replaced by the new Santro, but that did not happen and the Eon is still on sale.
Discount: Rs 70,000
The Hyundai Grand i10 is the bridge between the entry-level Eon or Santro and the premium Elite i20. The Grand i10 is a good-looking car which comes with enough features and comfort for the price. It is available in both petrol and diesel variants, as well.
Discount: Rs 50,000
The 2018 iteration of the Hyundai Elite i20 was launched at Auto Expo 2018, and it brought some essential updates to the previous version. One of the best-selling premium hatchbacks in the country, the Hyundai Elite i20 showcases the brand's Fluidic design philosophy,
Discount: Rs 80,000
The Hyundai Xcent is the compact-sedan avatar of the Grand i10. It is sold in one of the most competitive market segments in India, with the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze as the biggest rivals. The Hyundai Xcent is also a popular choice for fleet operators.
Discount: Rs 40,000
The Hyundai Verna is the winner of the prestigious Indian Car Of The Year (ICOTY) 2018, and is all respects, a really good sedan. The Verna is arguably the best-looking sedan in its class, offering a tight competition to the likes of the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Skoda Rapid.
Discount: Rs 1 lakh-plus
The Hyundai Elantra has an aerodynamic design and also offers good performance figures. The next-generation Elantra has already been unveiled globally (launched in some markets too), and this is the same reason why it is getting such a huge discount.
Discount: Rs 1 lakh-plus
The Hyundai Tucson is the flagship model from the brand and also the least successful; pricing being the main reason. Available in both petrol and diesel formats, the Tucson is a good-looking five-seater SUV which rivals the Jeep Compass.
As mentioned before, these discount offers are subject to vary (without notice) depending on the dealership. We have taken Bangalore dealerships as a reference, and other dealers across the country might offer even lesser or greater discounts than this. But keeping all that aside, it is still the best time to buy a Hyundai.
