Next-Generation Mercedes-Benz CLS Teased Ahead Of Debut At LA Auto Show
Next-Generation Mercedes-Benz CLS teased.
Mercedes-Benz is all set to debut the next-generation CLS four-door coupe at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. The German car maker has revealed the first teaser of the new CLS.
The Mercedes-Benz CLS which slots in between the E-Class and S-Class, bears the tagline, "The Original Perfected," referring to its status as the pioneer of the whole four-door coupe sensation.

While the teaser reveals only the front portion of the new CLS, the coupe still looks interesting. The new L-shaped LED DRLs looks stylish. The car also gets a new diamond-pattern grille with single chrome slat and large three-point-star Mercedes-Benz logo at the centre.

The headlamps are new and in line with the company's current design language and the front bumper seems to have been redesigned as well. While there is no information on the interior of the next-generation CLS, we expect Mercedes-Benz to mimic the dashboard of the C238 E-Class Coupe, featuring the brand's Widescreen Cockpit.

As for the powertrain, the next-gen Mercedes-Benz CLS is expected to be powered by the company's new inline-six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, along with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine for the base models.

The teaser of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS reveals only the front profile of the four-door coupe, and we have to wait till the 2017 LA Show to have an extensive look at the car. But with the new-generation powertrains and all-new premium features, the next-generation CLS is expected to set the bar higher for its immediate rivals.
