India witnessed some of the most important car launches ahead of the festive season this year. Tata Motors launched the Nexon with an aggressive price tag, Skoda launched their flagship Kodiaq 7-seater SUV and even India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki didn't miss the opportunity to launch a car with the facelifted S-Cross.
Buyers will be treated to more such car launches in the coming month as well. Here is the list of new car launches in November 2017 along with their expected launch date, price, key specs, and images.

Land Rover Discovery
Land Rover is all set to launch the 5th generation Discovery in India. The Land Rover Discovery is slotted above the Discovery Sport and is the company's flagship vehicle. The new Land Rover Discovery is underpinned by the latest aluminium-infused chassis technology from the British marque.

The new Land Rover Discovery will be powered by a 3.0-litre petrol or turbo-diesel engine producing 255bhp and 335bhp respectively. Both the engines are offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Launch Date: October 28, 2017
Price: Start From Rs 71.38 lakh (ex-showroom)

Renault Captur
Renault India is ready to shift gears and launch a premium SUV in India. The Captur (pronounced Capture) will be positioned above the Duster and will rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, Tata Hexa and the petrol version of the Jeep Compass.

The same engine will power the Renault Captur as the Duster. The Renault Captur petrol version will be equipped with a 1.5-litre engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox which produces 105bhp and 142Nm of torque. The diesel version of the Renault Captur will be powered by a 1.5-litre unit developing 109bhp and 240Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Launch Date: November 6, 2017
Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14 lakh

Ford EcoSport Facelift
Ford India is ready to bring its EcoSport facelift to the country when the competition is high in the subcompact SUV segment. With Maruti Brezza performing well and with Tata Motors launching the Nexon at an aggressive price, Ford wants to capitalize on the buyer's sentiment towards the first subcompact SUV in India.

The facelifted Ford EcoSport also comes with updated interiors including a premium looking floating touchscreen infotainment system. The new Ford EcoSport comes with cosmetic upgrades and a new 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine.

The 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engines are also expected to be offered on the EcoSport facelift. While the petrol 1.5-litre engine will come with a choice of a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, the diesel 1.5-litre will come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Launch Date: November 8, 2017
Expected Price: Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh

Maruti Celerio X
Maruti was the first to introduce the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) in India which was introduced through the Celerio hatchback. Now, the company wants to add more choices for the buyer with the Celerio X.

A crossover version of the Maruti Celerio with the moniker Celerio X will be launched in India. The Maruti Celerio X is a rugged and sporty looking Celerio. The Celerio X will come with fully redesigned bumpers, and the front grille now comes with honeycomb mesh, while the air-dams have been redesigned as well.

There will be black plastic cladding all around the Celerio X to give the hatchback a crossover outlook along with roof rails and faux skid plates.
The Celerio X will continue to be powered by the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine and will come with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or the AMT gearbox. We expect the Celerio X to sport a higher ground clearance to keep the dynamics of a crossover.

Expected Price: Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh
