Lexus RX 450h India Launch In March 2017
Japanese car maker Lexus is all set to launch its hybrid SUV, the RX 450h in India. As per the reports the SUV will be launched in the Indian market in March 2017.
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota's luxury vehicle division, Lexus is all set to begin its operations in the country. Previously the company had organised a private event in India to showcase its product portfolio.
As per the emerging reports, Lexus is all geared up to launch its hybrid SUV in India very soon. A report from Motoroids states that the RX450h will be launched in India in March 2017.
Lexus will set up its first showroom in Mumbai situated at the Taj Santacruz Hotel, near the international airport of the city.
The interior of the Lexus RX450h features Lexus Enform infotainment system, 12.3-inch multimedia display, Mark Levnson audio system with rear-seat entertainment and Heads-up Display (HUD).
The hybrid SUV also gets power operated boot lid and a number of safety features under Lexus Safety+. The front of the SUV features signature huge Lexus grille and edgy designed headlamps.
The Lexus RX 450h draws power from a V6 Atkinson petrol engine coupled to the Lexus Hybrid Drive. The hybrid powertrain delivers a combined power output of 308bhp.
The transmission duties are carried by an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The hybrid SUV is expected to hit the Indian roads by March 2017.
