Hyundai i20 Facelift Spotted At ARAI In Pune.
After several rounds of testing the Hyundai i20 facelift in India, the premium hatchback was recently spotted at ARAI in Pune probably for the homologation process. The hatchback was spotted by YouTube channel "Automobile Enthusiast's".
The Korean carmaker is expected to launch the facelifted i20 hatchback at the upcoming Auto Expo to be held in February 2018 in Delhi.
The new Hyundai i20 facelift is seen featuring a new 'Cascading' grille just other Hyundai cars. The i20 facelift spied here gets a sleek silver paint and gets dark ten-spoke alloy wheels.
The i20 facelift is also seen with LED daytime running lights, and the number plate is seen mounted to the tailgate rather than the bumper. The car also features new taillights along with taillamp graphics.

Inside the Hyundai i20 facelift, the hatchback will get slight upgrades with an updated touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features.
Mechanically, the i20 facelift model is expected to be powered by the same engine which powers the current model. Presently, Hyundai offers the 1.2-litre petrol unit paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the car also gets a 1.4-litre petrol engine which is mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The Elite i20 is also available with a 1.4-litre diesel engine which is married to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The current model's prices are in the range of Rs 5.29 lakh to Rs 9.15 lakh depending on the variant, and the facelift i20 is expected to cost in the same region to keep it competitive in the segment.

Hyundai recently launched the new-generation Verna, and the sedan immediately found success, and we expect the same with the i20 facelift model as well. The reason is attributed to upgraded features, design and the backing of Hyundai's penchant quality products.
