All You Need To Know About The Soon To Be Launched Ford EcoSport Facelift
Ford EcoSport facelift variants explained.
Ford India is all set to introduce the EcoSport facelift in the country on November 9, 2017. The updated compact SUV features changes to the exterior and interior design and an all-new petrol engine.
Now, TeamBHP has got hold of the detailed variant list of the new EcoSport. The overall design of the compact SUV remains the same, but it gets an all-new front fascia which sets it apart from the current-gen model.
The EcoSport facelift will draw power from an all-new 1.5-litre three-cylinder Dragon Series petrol engine. The diesel variant will come with a 1.5-litre engine and Ford could also retain the 1-litre EcoBoost engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
All the technical specifications of the new EcoSport are already revealed. But how will the variants differ on the new EcoSport? Here are the complete details of the variants of the updated compact SUV.
The new Ford EcoSport will be available in five variants: Ambiente, Trend, Trend+. Titanium and Titanium+, with both petrol and diesel engines.

Ford EcoSport Ambiente
The base variant of the EcoSport facelift comes with a long list of features. It is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, crash unlocking system, engine immobiliser, emergency brake light flashing, infotainment system with FM, MP3, Aux-in and USB and Bluetooth and four speakers. The Ambiente trim also gets body-coloured front and rear bumpers and courtesy lamps.
Ford EcoSport Trend
In addition to the features offered on the Ambiente trim, the Trend variant features infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual USB ports, two tweeters in front, steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls and back seat pocket for both the front seats.
Ford EcoBoost Trend+
The EcoSport Trend+ is positioned above the top-spec Titanium trim and gets luggage compartment light, puddle lamps on ORVMs, electrically operated ORVMs, rear package tray, height adjustment for driver seat, front armrest with storage, rear parking sensor and one-touch up/down driver side window.
Ford EcoSport Titanium
The Ford EcoSport Titanium is the top variant of the compact SUV and gets all the bells and whistles. The Titanium trim is equipped with start/stop button and smart entry sensor on the door, armrest on rear seat with cup holders, projector headlamps, LED DRLs and front and rear bumper applique.
Apart from that, the top-of-the-range variant of the new EcoSport features leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, sporty alloy pedal, multicolour ambient light in the footwell, high-speed warning and locking wheel nut for alloy spare wheel. The automatic variant of the Titanium trim gets paddle shifters, hill launch assist, electronic stability control, emergency brake assist and traction control.
Ford EcoSport Titanium+
The optional variant of the top-spec trim comes with few additional features such as ISOFIX mounts for child seats, cruise control with adjustable speed limiter, side and curtain airbags, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, glove box illumination and tyre pressure monitor.
