Spy Pics: Ford EcoSport Facelift Spotted Testing Without Camouflage In India

Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India without camouflage. This is the first time the EcoSport facelift has been spied without camouflage.

Ford has been testing the facelifted EcoSport in India, and the new images from Team-BHP reveal the front fascia of the compact SUV.

The EcoSport facelift model will mainly focus on aesthetics, technology and features. The design language is based on Ford's latest design direction.

The front grille of the facelifted EcoSport is now hexagonal comes with chrome highlights. The design of the headlights has been revised and come equipped with projectors and LED daytime-running lights (DRLs).

The new front bumper houses a set of fog lamps positioned below the main headlamp cluster and the faux silver scuff plate now integrates into the lower part of the bumper.

As for the rear profile of the facelifted EcoSport, Ford is expected to retain the same design but with minor changes along with the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

As for for the engine specifications of the Ford EcoSport facelift, the company is expected to retain the same 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol unit, a 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol unit and a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel unit.

Also, reports suggest Ford could add a new 'Dragon' 1.5-litre petrol engine with paddle shifters for the automatic gearbox.
