Volkswagen Celebrates Chingam With Its Customers & Vehicles
Volkswagen India has managed to set a personal record, in terms of delivering vehicles. On the first day of Chingam, which is celebrated as Malayalam New Year, VW delivered 148 vehicles across Kerala. Customers were delivered their vehicles to celebrate the occasion in style.
The festive season of Onam has just begun and Volkswagen wants to celebrate with its customers. In Kochi, Volkswagen managed to deliver 40 vehicles in a single day. Volkswagen Kochi also marked the highest bulk booking till date from an outlet in Kerala.
Currently, Volkswagen offers a handful of vehicles for the Indian market. Only the Polo hatchback, Ameo compact sedan, Vento sedan, Jetta sedan, and the Beetle luxury hatchback are on offer in the country. A couple of new models are expected to launch soon.
Very soon, Volkswagen India will be launching its Ameo compact sedan with an optional diesel engine. At this moment, Volkswagen Ameo is only available with a petrol-powered engine. There are reports suggesting that an automatic transmission could also be on offer.
